Dress Code & Guest Policy
At the Naples Yacht Club, we take pride in upholding the traditions and standards that define our distinguished community. Our dress code plays an important role in preserving the Club’s refined atmosphere, ensuring that members and their guests enjoy an environment of elegance, respect, and camaraderie. We kindly remind all members and guests of the importance of adhering to these guidelines, as outlined in our House Rules. Below is the Board-approved Dress Code, provided here as a reference for your convenience.
The customary attire at the Club is best described as “Club Casual.” Please note that our interpretation of Club Casual may vary slightly depending on the time of day; however, gentlemen are generally expected to wear a tucked-in collared shirt, slacks, and appropriate shoes, while ladies should wear attire of the equivalent formality, such as a dress slacks paired with a blouse or suitable top.
Guest Policy
Guests who are not immediate family members of a NYC member, nor members of an approved reciprocal club, must be accompanied by a member during their visit. Guest visits are limited, and members may review the guest policy in full in the House Rules. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests comply with the applicable dress code.
Reciprocal guests outside of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs must receive approval from the Executive Director of Membership and provide a letter of good standing from their home club before securing reservations. Guests visiting from fellow Florida Council of Yacht Clubs are welcome but should secure reservations prior to arrival. Any person deemed improperly attired shall be asked to leave the Club, but may return once they are in compliance with the appropriate dress code.
